Chelsi. {Senior Portraits}

GORGEOUS. STUNNING. BEAUTIFUL.
ALL OF THE ABOVE.

Finally getting around to posting this fun senior session.
I am so behind on this blog....what's new?

We just had a blast and I may have taken over 700+ photos. I was pretty much talking her ear off about how great college is going to be and how much fun she is going to have. [i.e. how much I miss it!] And when I wasn't talking about that I was telling her how blown away I was by her natural beauty and possible career in modeling.
wouldn't you agree?

and now I am feeling old because 2002 was the year I graduated high school...just a decade has passed. NBD.

Fun Fact: She is cousins with the girl in my previous post below.
Can you tell that beautiful genes run in the family?

Recent Work. {AKA Photo Dump}

Well, here you have it.
A random selection of my recent work, mostly from last year.
The truth is, I just don't have the time (or energy) to post my favorites from every session, especially during the busy season.
I feel that each family should receive individual attention, but it has just been piling up as I feel more behind each day.
So I hope you'll forgive me in this informal attempt to catch up on this neglected blog.

I loved looking back on the wonderful moments I shared with all of you!
THANK YOU for making this job so fulfilling.

ahhh, the weight has been lifted.

a proposal.

I had so much fun working with a company called The Yes Girls that sets up wedding proposals.
I was hired to capture the moment and it was so magical from start to finish.
It was my first time really getting nervous for a shoot because I didn't want to miss a single moment and had to be ready with harsh lighting and not knowing which way she would be facing to get her reaction.
It looks like we were close to the scene, but thanks to my 70-200mm lens, I was sneakily snapping from quite a distance.
I took a lot of photos, but I'll blog the ones that tell the story of this cute couple and their unforgettable evening.

the set up at strands:
 the surprise.
 the tears:
 the words from the heart:
 the proposal:
 the reaction: (SHE SAID YES!)
 the kiss:
 the ring double-take:
 the photographer spotted:
 the ROCK!!!:
 I snapped a couple more of these two love birds soaking in their moment.

the sunset was absolute perfection.
congrats you two!

Jessie.

i've known this girl since she was a baby and i think that's when she starting singing and stealing the show.
she is a talented one and needed some updated headshots for her acting career.

bree. {sweet 16}

although she looks about 21, this beauty just turned 16 and we had so much fun frolicking around this orange orchard that i have been dying to discover. we carefully sneaked past the 'no trespassing' signs and it was definitely worth the risk. would you agree?

oh, there are many more great ones i could post...
just a lovely evening and to top if off the oranges were delicious!
